Grand Teton National Park & Universal Textile Technologies announced a formation of a new recycling partnership.  The main purpose of the project is to reduce landfill waste as well as help create American jobs.   This project is being referred to at the PET Park Project and entails that plastic bottles will be recycled from the park and used to make high performance backing for artificial turf in America.

Typically most of the plastic bottles that are recycled nowadays are shipped off overseas where they are refurbished into new plastic bottles and sent back.  This new initiative is going to help create and keep American jobs as well as reduce the number of plastic bottles ending up in landfills.

Field of Green™ provides a variety of green solutions and recycled content in their synthetic grass systems.  Our variety of turf options include ForeverLawn products that include recycled plastic bottles in their premium backing.  The premium backing is made of a very durable polyurethane backing.
